This is the difficult one. I have a list of over 1000 free directories but I dont think Wordpress is going to digest this on the sort of bandwidth connection I am cursed with. So I am going to use a simple html page and link to it from here.

Are they all current? No

These damned things fall over like flies, others go paid or require a recip and the rest just go dormant after awhile. If you do use these lists please make a note of the exceptions and let us know which ones have gone bad and need to be removed.

Are they worth submitting to? Yes

Try to get in early, submit and forget. You would be crazy not to. Have you seen what some sites are getting away with to “supposedly review” your site every time they want you to re-list? Nuts!
